this is the absolute best ammo for small game and magazine use. For example the Gamo Urban 22 PCP , this is awesome ammo for small game. I highly recommend this ammo and wish I could get more- but its very expensive unfortunately. Another example of you get what you pay for. This is great ammo and you won’t be disappointed.
Malone Melon –
Always full pass throughs. Good expansion with minimal meat damage.

I have a Browning BLR in 358 Winchester and the ammo is a little hard to find and it works quite well for me.

Packaging was great. No defects. Craftsmanship is 100%. Extremely accurate out of my Hatsan 155 .22 cal. Your go to pellet for hunting! The video and picture speak volumes of this pellet. Amazing expansion. Only pellet I use.

I hate to knock down stars, but I can only relate my experience. In my Hatsan Bullboss .22, these mostly corkscrew in flight. It’s sad because they are beautiful pellets and look much nicer than the jsb pellets I’ve been using. The whole tin has perfect skirts. They just don’t like being hammered out at 1000+ fps (PCP).
Satisfied Client –
Shot a .580 and a .810 inch group with a ruger m77 at 100 yds. It would be nice if hornady offered some loads with different sized bullets.
Steven –
The most underrated caliber ever but As a medium bore medium distance (175yds) Absolutely devastating on whitetail deer and hogs Minimal recoil DRT EVERY SINGLE TIME Hornady keeps making them I’ll keep buying them
Phil lewis –
One of my favorite pellets I love these and the metal mags

I recently bought 2 boxes of this ammo’ from Midway/USA to test in my Browning BLR .358 (circa 1976) and my Savage 99F, also in this caliber. This Hornady 200 gr. SP load made one ragged 4 shot group of 9/16″ @ 100yds… AND exactly to point-of-impact as the Winchester 200 gr. Silvertips which the Browning BLR is zeroed with currently!I then switched to my Savage 99F and placed the next 4 shots into 13/16″ @ 100 yds ..although the group for this 200 gr. Hornady ammo’ was exactly 6″ higher than the 250 gr. Superior Ammunition loads with which I have it zeroed.THIS NEW HORNADY 200 gr. LOAD iS INCREDIBLE AMMO!Recoil is on a par with the Winchester 200 gr. Silvertips, too, so it is a very comfortable-shooting load… I am buying more of this load, immediately, from Midway!
BLANDINO –
Excellent choice for 358 Winchester. Perform very good on whitetail. Have not recovered an expended bullet but made fast clean harvests. Holds better than 1MOA
Poison –
They practically pancake at anything over 1000fps.

I’ve read that you need to try many different types and weights of pellets to find the one that your rifle prefers.
I tried these Predator PolyMag shorts and the Gamo Red Fire with a Gamo Maxxim Swarm 10X Gen 22 .22cal and they are both spot on, nice tight pattern. Of the two I prefer the PolyMag because they are much cleaner (very little residue/dust on your fingers, where the Red Fire are filthy) no problems with either in grouping and firing.
PolyMag will be my go to pellet.
But do to all the high praise it the price of the PolyMag continues to increase, so I will buy whichever is cheaper.

Finding good brass for my Winchester model 88 in .358 win. Is very difficult . So I solve the problem of buy Hornady factory loads. I had to have my entire right shoulder replaced with all sorts of spit and bubble gum, so the surgeon says keep your loads light. NO shotgun above 20 ga. Standard loads. This Hornady load is light enough that I can handle it with no problem, the same with my hand loads .i am happy to say both loads shoot within 3/4″ of each other. I get 1 inch to 1 1/2 inch at 100 yards. Both my body and eyes are not what they were 50 years ago. I’m not complaining ,I am out in the woods enjoying each and every minute! This Hornady is first class, buy it! Norman

I used this Deer hunting last year with great success taking a 8 point buck at 100 yards in heavy brush. Sighting it in with my BLR at 50 and 100 yards the grouping was as tight as a quarter. So yes I would purchase more of the Hornady rounds.

This is the best factory ammo out there for the 358 win. It is not the most powerful but is is very consistant with 10 fps spread in my custom rem 700 rifle. My wife shot a small whitetail buck with this load and dropped it where he was standing. 2 inch in and 2 inch out wound at 60 yards!!! impressive. Also this ammo is very accurate usually printing under 1 moa groups
White Chris –
I shoot them out of my old savage 99. They are more than accurate enough to hunt deer with and shot clear through the shoulder of a mature doe at about 50 yards. Massive damage to her heart and a very short and easy to follow blood trail.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

I generally shoot Nosler bullets from my bolt action rifle for long-range work. However, .358 ammo for my Browning BLR has limited selection, so I went with these Hornady cartridges. I’m very happy with these. I shot a medium sized whitetail in his bed last week from a range of about 60 yards. The bullet struck the spine and finished inside the far shoulder where I could recover the bullet. It had completely mushroomed into a textbook 5-petal configuration, about 15/16″ diameter. Deer was DRT.
Chirack Tamjong –
Two cases on white tails where the bullets came apart at about 2800 fps from my 35 Whelen. Other than that they have always gone through and stopped them quickly. Very accurate from my 35 Whelen and my 358 Winchester.
Jane Rodriguez –
Received in adequate time as described

Under 1MOA in every gun I’ve tried it in, including an old Savage Model 99. Very reliably accurate. Expands to 75 caliber at minimum. If I have a complaint, it’s that it could be a bit hotter. This is a slightly more mild load for older guns, maybe? 2500 fps from 20-22″ barrels. A superformance load version of this would be great. But hits animals very hard as is without too much meat damage.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

I got these hoping they would be accurate out of my new BLR and they are! Three shots in a 2in circle at 100 yards. Shot three whitetail with it last year ranging from 30 to 170 yards and all three DRT! No bullets recovered and half dollar exits. To me as long as they are accurate in your rifle this is all you will need for whitetail.
Dally M –
Great for getting more fps out of your pellet gun, but expensive
Same AJ –
These were the first loads I tried in my 358 Win. BLR. Basically, cloverleaf groups @100yds! Far better accuracy than I’d expected from a light, lever gun. Anyhow, cant wait to see if the Interlocks live up to their reputation on some deer and hogs.

Just tried these in my BLR at 52 yards, shot a 0.75″ 3 shot group. They shoot to the same point of aim, about, as some 225 gr Barnes Double taps…pretty handy. I hunt some boar in June, and will try out both loads, but this one should be deadly and accurate.
Big G –
Finally was able to use this ammo on Ga deer. I was already impressed with the accuracy from my BLR but the terminal effect on two does confirmed this is excellent ammo for deer sized game. First shot was @ about 120 yrds broadside. Hit midway up just behind the right shoulder. Exit was slightly lower behind the left shoulder. Baseball size exit. Great blood trail. Deer ran the typical 50-60 yrds. Second deer was straight on hit upper chest center same range. Exit was behind the last rib on right side a little low. Same exit as first. Deer was drt.
Super Mario –
This round is just plain good for hunting. Hornaday`s version with 200 gr bullet gives enough velocity and mass to get the job done in one shot. 300lb hog ran 30yds and left a blood spray out of both sides the whole way.
Fire OG –
Most accurate pelletts i.v ever used and i.ve used a lot of them. They will penetrate a steel wash tub at 30 yars and keep going!!
Zara –
This is good ammo and it’ll put a 200lb.pig down. However, I wish Hornady loaded a 250 gr. bullet in this round.
Sanon Rap –
Loads for my old Savage 99, in 358 Winchester, aren’t easy to find but as usual, Hornady comes through with a standard pressure load that is hard hitting and very reasonably priced. Also, I can add the brass to my reloading pile for later.
Derick AJ Hawkins –
Bought this ammo for the brass. However, it shot better than expected and I wouldn’t hesitate to use it hunting. Hornady interlock bullets have alway performed well for me.
Maffor B –
Dead center every shot. Used these to sight in a brand new Gamo Maxxim G2. They shot perfect every time.
Jordin Williams –
I’m happy with Hornady products. They’ve always performed as expected. When available, I use heavier bullets, but the lighter bullets work well.
Betty white –
Have used these in both .35 Whelen and .350 Rem Mag. Pass through on broadside shots. Hornady lists them as recoil proof with the protected lead tip but these deform considerably under recoil.
Fritz O –
It will knock the bottom of a varmint! It is MAXIMUM DESTRUCTION! I have had a pellet gun since I was a kid and never have I seen anything like this. It’s like a hollow point on a smaller scale. Go watch prairie dog hunt and it will give you an idea of what it does iguanas, mice and rats! If could post pictures I would but you wouldn’t know what I shot.. It is the REAL DEAL my friend and dangerous.
Precious Dayo –
Everyone shoots 223/5.56 nowadays, and while I do also, I still LOVE the 358 Winchester. I’m going to be pleased with anyone who continues to make the cartridge.
Beech Man –
Arrived on time. Was exactly as advertised. Will definitely order from ammunition Butik again. Will check their prices first from now on. Prices are competitive.
Laura Claire –
Not to bad
Michael J Kings –
Expands well but not accurate enough in any of the the two rifles I used it in.
